How to disable/deny access linux to DMI table?

Gabor asked:

I’m working a very large project where I must to setup high secuired. How can I disable linux kernel to access DMI table ? Be exists any solution ? Maybe I must compile a custom kernel ?

My answer:

The kernel can always access SMBIOS/DMI information. Even root can do it with access to /dev/mem. So this doesn’t make any sense. If you must hide the physical hardware from some software, you run that software in a virtual machine.
